The games will be played simultaneously on four 30x15m fields with FIFA-certified non-slip artificial turf. Wearing artificial turf or indoor shoes is mandatory for the tournament. All types of cleats are not permitted. Spectators are allowed to enter the viewing area with street shoes.

The fields are surrounded by a 1-meter-high barrier, with a net above it. Entry and exit to the fields are only possible through a door next to the goal. An official match ball from the ÖFB (Austrian Football Association) will be used.

The tournament starts at 8:30 a.m., and the hall can be entered as early as 7:30 a.m. Changing rooms and showers are separated by gender but not assigned to specific teams; they can be chosen and used freely. The changing rooms cannot be locked, so participants are responsible for securing their valuables.

There is a snack bar in the hall where drinks and small snacks can be purchased. Please note that only cash payment is accepted. A medical service will be present in the hall for initial treatment of injuries during the tournament.

  1. Matches are played with 5 players: 4 outfield players and 1 goalkeeper. Each match is officiated by an official referee. Guest players are only permitted if a team does not have enough of its own players available for a scheduled match due to player absences. This must be reported to the tournament management in advance.
  1. The size of the playing field is 30 x 15 meters, surrounded by boards with nets above them. If the ball touches the net along the sides of the field, play is stopped and resumed with a roll-in at the spot where the ball hit the net, by the team that did not play the ball into the net. If the ball touches the net at the ends of the field near the goals, a goal kick is awarded if the attacking team last touched the ball, or a corner kick if the defending team last touched it. Corner kicks are also taken by rolling in. If the ball hits the ceiling or part of the roof, play resumes with a dropped ball at the spot where the ball touched.

  2. The net playing time is 1 x 10 minutes.

  3. Player substitutions can take place at any time, provided the player on the field exits before the substitute enters. No more than 5 players per team may be on the field at any time.

  4. The offside rule is not applied, but the back-pass rule is in effect.

  5. Fouls by the defending team inside the penalty area result in 7-meter penalty kicks (except for violations related to the back-pass rule, which are penalized with an indirect free kick at the spot where the goalkeeper touched the ball with their hands).

  6. Yellow and red cards follow official football rules. If an offense leads to a direct dismissal (straight red card), the tournament management may impose a suspension for additional matches. Insults directed at players or referees usually result in the player’s exclusion from the tournament. If only 2 outfield players remain on the field, the match is abandoned.

  7. Violations of the back-pass rule: If a defending player deliberately passes or plays the ball with their foot to their own goalkeeper, the goalkeeper is not allowed to handle the ball with their hands. A violation results in an indirect free kick from the spot of the infringement. If a ball is rolled directly to the goalkeeper, they must not touch it with their hands (back-pass rule). Handling the ball in this situation results in an indirect free kick for the opposing team from the spot of the violation.

  8. The final minute of play is announced audibly. The match ends with the referee’s whistle. There is no extra time.

  9. Matches must be played in indoor or artificial turf shoes. The use of cleats is prohibited.

  10. For free kicks and roll-ins, the opposing team must maintain a minimum distance of 2 meters from the spot of execution.

  11. Goal kicks are taken by the goalkeeper from any point within the penalty area. The ball may be thrown or kicked to restart play and is in play once it has left the penalty area towards the field. Goals cannot be scored directly by hand.

  12. If both teams have the same jersey color, a draw will decide which team must wear bibs.

  13. Teams must be present at the field in time for the match start. If a team does not appear for kick-off, the match is scored 0:2 against them.

  14. The team listed first on the match schedule starts the game, while the second-listed team chooses the side.

  15. Participation in the tournament is at the player’s own risk.

  16. Where not otherwise specified, the official football rules apply.
